Cecilia Solis

Throughout all my life I had been an active volunteer supporting of many social initiatives which promoted education, art or community like: Work for Love (Masiphumelele), The Breeder Centre, Imhoff Waldorf School, Eurthymy Kairos School (dancing).

But these last 8 years I have been one of the founder members and current chair and coordinator of Foster Furry Rescue 260-746 NPO/ PBO 930077037, to which I volunteer most of my free time, supporting our Management Committee, Foster Families and Rescue Team. In these 8 years we have rescued 1468 cats and kittens, which had been rehome after been sterilised, micro-chipped, fully vaccinated. This volunteer work together with teaching, and my love for arts, plus being a mother, are my greatest joy and purpose.

I studied at the University of Tarapaca in Chile, History and Geography.

I have 17 years of experience teaching at the Ruth Prowse School of Art, and previously teaching at corporate clients like, Fair Lady, Readers Digest, Elle Magazine, Elledeco, Two Oceans Aquarium, GlaxoSmithKline.
